RUA
Rua was formed in 2000 by Liz Madden and Gloria Mulhall. Their original compositions crossed many musical genres including Irish traditional, Classical, Symphonic and Folk music. With live performances worldwide, from the USA to China, Rua's compositions also featured in TV/Film and on hundreds of compilations. In 2001 they were signed to the Celtic Collections label and released their self-titled debut album later that year. Their second album Dream-Teller, which featured a narration by Irish actor Gabriel Bryne, was released in 2003. Their final album together, Whisper, was released worldwide in 2007. In 2008 both ladies went on to solo careers. It was with great sadness that Gloria Mulhall passed away suddenly in 2014.
